He has served in the Arizona Legislature since 2012, holding key leadership roles including House Majority Leader, Rules Chair, Judiciary Chair, Ethics Committee member, and current Senate President.
A lifelong advocate for limited government, low taxes, free markets, and individual rights, Petersen has championed fiscally conservative policies, religious freedom, Second Amendment protections, and crime victims’ rights. He led efforts to defend state laws, including keeping men out of women’s sports and opposing unconstitutional mandates.
Honored with the Silver Beaver Award for youth service and multiple recognitions for protecting freedoms, Petersen is a proven conservative leader.
Statement
I will restore the Attorney General’s office to its core mission: fighting crime, rooting out corruption, securing our elections, and defending our Constitution. Under Kris Mayes it has drifted into partisan and woke politics. With over a decade of broad legal experience, I have served as Judiciary/Rules Chairman and now Senate President—giving me unmatched constitutional expertise among the candidates. When Mayes failed to uphold the law, I stepped up to defend it. I have managed over 110 cases or amicus briefs, including high-profile matters like the Save Women’s Sports Act that reached the U.S. Supreme Court (Doe v. Warren Petersen).
My primary opponent has switched parties three times. I am the only lifelong Republican in the primary who has won an election. Already leading a major branch of government, my proven blend of legal acumen and leadership prepares me to run the office effectively from day one. I am the only candidate endorsed by conservative Attorneys General, County Attorneys, Sheriffs, law enforcement leaders, and our next governor, Trump endorsed Andy Biggs. They recognize my strong conservative record on policy, leadership, and legal experience. I respectfully ask for your vote. Visit petersenforag.com to view all endorsements.

Statement
Andy Biggs is running for Governor to bring down costs for Arizona families and businesses by growing our economy, lowering taxes, encouraging job growth, and reducing government interference. As Governor, he will prioritize the use and expansion of reliable and affordable energy sources for every Arizonan and responsibly manage our water and land resources to ensure long-term growth and an increased supply of single-family homes. Biggs will protect the rights and freedoms of Arizonans to make their own education and health choices, supporting school choice policies and enacting the MAHA agenda at the state level.

Rodney Glassman is a Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps Reserve, experienced prosecutor, and practicing litigation attorney of nearly two decades. He is married to his law school sweetheart and the proud father of two daughters. Rodney is running for Attorney General to protect Arizona’s law enforcement, children, and prosperity while working with President Trump to secure the southern border. On day one, Rodney will withdraw Arizona from Kris Mayes’s click-bait lawsuits and rescind her political indictments. Rodney’s campaign is chaired by Maricopa County Sheriff Jerry Sheridan, Arizona Superintendent Tom Horne, and former Senate President Karen Fann.
Statement
Rodney is a Trump conservative and the only candidate running with experience as a practicing attorney.
As a Lieutenant Colonel, when Rodney puts on his uniform to serve at Luke Air Force Base, he leads the active-duty legal office of JAGs, paralegals, and support staff providing all the legal services for the one-star general and base squadrons commanders. He has prosecuted drug dealers and financial crimes while protecting victims of sexual assault.
Rodney is also a successful litigator who has fed his family for nearly two decades as a private sector attorney.
Experience matters because the Arizona Attorney General runs the largest law office in the state, with over 400 attorneys and 1,000 support staff, providing all legal services for every state agency.
Protecting law enforcement means standing with law enforcement, every time.
Protecting children means safeguarding school choice, keeping biological boys out of girls’ sports, combating fentanyl and human trafficking, and advocating for parents and families.
Protecting prosperity means enforcing Arizona’s election laws, defending small businesses from overregulation, rooting out fraud, and ensuring Arizona’s consumers and seniors are protected.
As Arizona’s next Attorney General, Rodney will focus the Attorney General’s office on what matters most: protecting Arizona and Arizonans.

Les Presmyk is a lifelong Arizonan and mining engineer with 44+ years of experience in Arizona’s mines.
He has worked in operational and management positions in both underground and open-pit mines and understands mine safety, planning, and operations from the ground up.
Appointed Arizona State Mine Inspector in 2025 by Governor Katie Hobbs from a group of seven Republican applicants, he now oversees mine inspections, safety training, and reclamation to help ensure every miner returns home safely each day.
Les is a former member of the Gilbert Town Council and brings decades of civic and volunteer leadership to this role.
Statement
I spent my entire 45-year career in Arizona’s mining industry, starting by exploring old underground mines in high school and going on to work in large underground and open-pit copper mines, Arizona’s largest coal mine, and my own small mining operation.
Appointed by Governor Katie Hobbs from a group of seven Republican applicants, I now serve as your Arizona State Mine Inspector. My top priority is ensuring that mines are safe, so every miner, contractor, and supplier returns home safely at the end of each workday. I also oversee mine inspections, safety training, the securing abandoned mines and final mine reclamation statewide.
Beyond my professional work, I served on the Gilbert Town Council for 12 years and have devoted years to serving on boards and commissions in Gilbert and the Southeast Valley, with a special focus on supporting veterans and their families. I have spent countless hours supporting the two University of Arizona mining/mineral/gem museums in Phoenix and Tucson.
Safety is not a partisan issue, and I am committed to safeguarding both Arizona’s miners and our mining industry.
I am the only candidate with this depth of experience. I respectfully ask for your vote so I can continue this work.
