Call or email your DH Town Elected Officials and/or call the Town Manager and ask if this report was shared with council – Sources are saying only the current Mayor (Then Council Member Fenn) and Town Manager knew the contents of this report (or that the report existed). Doubt the council would have voted to purchase this lot with several of the problems listed on this report

Building is going to be challenging with this report and the lot being in a flood plain. Will we ever get a Public Works Facility? or Town Building?

This was a required report before purchase of the property but you may only know this if you are in real estate or done this kind of purchase before.

UPDATE: It has been discovered that Mayor Fenn was aware of the Phase 1 testing of OBCH early on. It is referenced as ESA or Level 1. The previous mayor and several council members who voted in favor of the OBCH purchase have stated in recent meetings that they were not aware of this testing. They indicated that they would not have supported the purchase had they known there were concerns.

Below is a clip from a January 6, 2026 meeting in which the Mayor acknowledges having prior knowledge of the testing. It is suppose to be a council of 7, not of 1.
