One of Dewey-Humboldt’s Town Council Members Took a Bold Step!
Map of the area:

Here is what we know:
Council Member Mike Donovan approached the ranchers on Outback Road with documentation that he filed with the State of Arizona to strip the family of their 100+ year lease running cattle – their livelihood!
This was a few days after the eldest of the family died. We are not sure if the move was a result of her death. He didn’t ask, he showed up on their door step to inform them the process had already been started with the State of Arizona.
Following the public backlash, CM Donovan is telling the public that he acted as a private citizen rather than in his capacity as a council member. He also stated that his goal is to turn the area into a commercial district that would benefit the Town of Dewey-Humboldt.
Paperwork he left the family with a Council Member Business Card. (image coming soon)
More information will be posted as it comes available.
