The Mayor is in the process of soliciting a deal to Donate or Give Away approximately $500,000 of the $1.65 million dollars the Town spent on the Old Black Canyon Highway property . It is unclear if council has signed off on this measure or how much the Mayor has shared with council. The OBCH property continues to create bad decisions for the council. The Mayor doesn’t have the authority to make such a deal without a vote by the council.
