Council Meeting 10-7-2025 – Video below is of the vote to end the Town’s Citizens Event Committee “CEC” by the Town Council.
The CEC handles the following town activities that we have come to love:
Trunk or Treat – Dewey Humboldt Days – Independence Day Celebration – Angel Tree, Christmas Light Parade and possibly others
It is unclear if the Town Council will continue to fund any of these events and what will happen to the event materials.
The social and economic impact of the council not funding theses activities is huge.
